Most advice you read online was written by someone who doesn't remember what it was like to be where you are. I do — because I was there recently. My job isn't to lord over the gap. It's to close it, one honest step at a time.

    Kaizen, not revolution.

    Transformation promises sell well. They rarely deliver. I build with the Japanese principle of continuous improvement: small, deliberate changes, compounded until they become character.

    Radical honesty over polished pitches.

    If I don't think I can help, I'll say so on the call. I'd rather lose a client than win one I can't move. That rule has cost me money. It has never cost me a night of sleep.
